Bar Association Announces New President

WBA President Timothy C. Andrews accepts the ceremonial gavel from Past President John M. Noble at the Annual Meeting held April 3, 2017.

At the Annual Membership Meeting of the Westmoreland Bar Association held on Monday, April 3, 2017, at Carson's Banquet Hall, Timothy C. Andrews assumed the office of president. As a former prosecutor with more than 30 years of experience, Attorney Andrews concentrates his practice in DUI, divorce and custody, and criminal defense. He completed his undergraduate degree at Washington and Jefferson College and obtained his law degree from Capital University Law School located in Columbus, Ohio.

Additional elections included: Attorney Margaret Maloy Tremba to the office of Vice President and Attorney Joyce Novotny-Prettiman to a three-year term on the Board of Directors. The Westmoreland Bar Association, established in 1886, is a voluntary legal organization of 500 members and includes local attorneys and county, federal and appellate court judges.
