Every soldier has a story. Lieutenant Colonel Platte B. Moring, III (Ret.)—a middle-aged Pennsylvania lawyer, a National Guard “weekend warrior,” who had never seen combat in his 25 years of service, but was called to active duty following the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks—will be telling his on Tuesday, September 17, at the Seton Hill Performing Arts Center in Greensburg, and you won’t want to miss it.
Come hear the story about the family that was left behind, and how that citizen-soldier was called upon to bring a foundation of law and order to Afghanistan. Lt. Col. Moring will also be selling and signing copies of his book, “Honor First: A Citizen-Soldier in Afghanistan.”
