What do you do when one of your clients or opposing party files for bankruptcy? For many attorneys bankruptcy is something they avoid at all costs, but in some cases it is unavoidable. The purpose of this informal discussion is to examine the relationship between bankruptcy and other practice areas like personal injury, workers compensation and family law. So, the next time your client or a bankruptcy trustee calls you and says you need to deal with the bankruptcy court or informs you that they need to file for bankruptcy you'll be better prepared.
