The Westmoreland Bar Association has two publications. The first is the Westmoreland Law Journal, the only authorized legal periodical in Westmoreland County. For over 89 years, legal advertisements, estate notices, court opinions and other important notices have been published in the journal for the benefit of our subscribers.

The second publication is our bimonthly newsletter, the sidebar, which features articles on practice tips, upcoming educational programs and social happenings to keep our members informed about the legal profession in Westmoreland County.
Westmoreland Law Journal
As a service to the profession, the court, and the public, the Westmoreland Bar Association publishes the Westmoreland Law Journal, the only authorized legal periodical in Westmoreland County. For over 88 years, legal advertisements, estate notices, court opinions and other important notices have been published in the journal for the benefit of our subscribers.

Advertising deadlines
The Westmoreland Law Journal publishes every Friday. Regular publication deadline is Noon on Tuesday for publication in that Friday's edition. Due to holidays, the Westmoreland Law Journal will have the following early deadlines for advertisements in 2008.

The newsletter publishes in February, April, June, August, October and December. The deadline for ad materials is the 1st of the month.

Advertisers who commit to advertising in six issues will receive a 30% discount. Payment must be received prior to publication.
