Welcome to MCC! MCC, Member Control Centre, is an open-source, easily-accessible website password protection solution for everyone and anything. The protection mechanism is based on the creation of .htaccess and .htpasswd file used by commen browser like apache. IIS webservers are not using this mechanism and therefor MCC will not work on ISS. The version you are seeing now is the our new full release, MCC 1.08.
The BasicsOne of the ideas behind MCC is to make a password protection solution that is not only free, but good! We do hope what you see before you is just that, and to make sure your experience is even more enjoyable we have created these help files to assist you wherever and whenever you may need assistance.
If this is your first time installing your password protection, or if you're upgrading to a newer version, click the Installation link to your left. Otherwise, check out the Users and Administration sections also to your left. Enjoy! =)
