FREE EVENT: Serving Those Who Served: Veteran Benefits, Programs and Legal Issues

Journey To NormalThose interested in Veterans’ Affairs are invited to attend a free conference on Friday, April 29 from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon at Penn State Fayette in Swimmers Hall. Titled “Serving Those Who Served: Veteran Benefits, Programs and Legal Issues,” the seminar will provide insight into benefits available to veterans. Attorneys and county veteran service specialists will sit as panelists to address current concerns for recent and not-so-recent veterans.

The program will kick-off with the viewing of the documentary “Journey To Normal” by Producer/Director JulieHera DeStefano, which recounts the service of women who have seen combat in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Additional panelists include:

  • Michele Vollmer, Esquire, Director of Penn State Law Veterans Legal Clinic
  • Keather Likins, Veterans Justice Outreach Specialist
  • Michael V. Quatrini, Esquire, Accredited Attorney for VA Compensation and Pension Matters
  • Kate Vozar, Fayette County Problem Solving Court Liaison, and
  • David K. Trevaskis, Esquire, PBA Pro Bono Coordinator.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists at the conclusion of the program.
