At the Annual Meeting of the Westmoreland Bar Association, Michael J. Stewart II was recognized as the 2014 Outstanding Young Lawyer. This award is given to the young lawyer who best exemplifies outstanding leadership and distinguished service to the legal profession and the community.

Attorney Stewart has been a member of the Westmoreland Bar since 2010. He is the immediate Past Chair of the WBA Young Lawyers Committee, a member of the Ned J. Nakles Inns of Court, and the Pennsylvania and Florida Bar Associations. Within the community Michael serves on the board of the Greensburg YMCA and is a member of the Greensburg Rotary.

An Associate with the Greensburg law firm of Stewart, McArdle, Sorice, Whalen, Farrell, Finoli & Cavanaugh, Michael concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, family law, real estate, and taxation. Attorney Stewart earned a B.S. from Penn State University, a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and an LLM in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.
