At the Annual Meeting of the Westmoreland Bar Association, Allison Thiel was recognized as the 2015 Outstanding Young Lawyer. This award is given to the young lawyer who best exemplifies outstanding leadership and distinguished service to the legal profession and the community.

Attorney Thiel has been a member of the Westmoreland Bar since 2010. She is the immediate Past Chair of the WBA Young Lawyers Committee, an executive board member of the Ned J. Nakles Inns of Court, and a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

“Allison has been a wonderful addition to the bar association,” says Diane Krivoniak, Executive Director of the WBA. “Her enthusiasm, organization and professionalism have gained her great respect among her colleagues.”

A law clerk with The Honorable John J. Driscoll, Allison resides in Ligonier. Attorney Thiel earned a B.S. from Penn State University, and a law degree from Widener University School of Law.
