Westmoreland Bar Foundation awards two college scholarships

The Westmoreland Bar Foundation recently awarded two college scholarships to participants of the county-wide Mock Trial Competition. The Mock Trial Competition is a contest comprised of area high school teams who compete in simulated legal trials. Winning teams proceed to regional, state and national playoffs.

Krystalyn Martin is a 2014 graduate of Derry High School. Krystalyn will be attending the Univeristy of Rochester to study Neuroscience. She is the daughter of Roberty and Sheri Martin.

Victoria Zhang is a 2014 graduate of Franklin Regional High School and a member of the winning county Mock Trial team. Victoria is attending Amherst College. She is the daughter of John and Joan Zhang.

Each student receives a $1,000 scholarship from the Founding Fellows Fund of the Westmoreland Bar Foundation.
