Westmoreland Bar Foundation awards three college scholarships

The Westmoreland Bar Foundation recently awarded three college scholarships to participants of the county-wide Mock Trial Competition. The Mock Trial Competition is a contest comprised of area high school teams who compete in simulated legal trials. Winning teams proceed to regional, state and national playoffs.

Alexis Mozga is 2012 graduate of Kiski Area High School. Alexis will be attending St. Vincent College to study Early Childhood/Special Education. She is the daughter of Janice and George Mozga.

Leah George is a 2012 graduate of Greensburg-Salem High School and a member of the winning county Mock Trial team. Leah will be attending the University of Pittsburgh and has not yet declared her major. She is the daughter of Donna and James George.

Donald Cole is also a 2012 graduate of Greensburg-Salem High School and a member of the winning county Mock Trial team. Donald will be attending St. Vincent College and has not yet declared his major. He is the son of Elizabeth and Donald J. Cole.
